We only collect data strictly necessary to provide our core social networking and accreditation services:

Account & Identity Data: Full name, professional email address, profile photo, and verified employment information provided via LinkedIn OAuth authentication or work email verification.
Startup & Pitch Data: Startup descriptions, traction metrics, sector categories, fundraising goals, elevator pitches, and city locations posted by founders.
Communications & Interactions: User-to-user direct messages ("Pounces"), community feed upvotes, comments, and reports.
Technical & Diagnostics Data: IP address, device model, operating system version, Firebase crash logs, and app performance analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your data is processed strictly for the following legitimate purposes:

To verify professional identity and prevent fraud or impersonation on the platform.
To display startup pitches and user profiles on the public community feed.
To enable direct encrypted messaging between verified builders and investors.
To diagnose technical errors, improve app stability, and optimize matchmaking algorithms.

6. Account & Data Deletion Rights

You have the absolute right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly inside the Pounce mobile app under Profile > Settings > Delete Account, or visit our dedicated Data Deletion Portal. Upon receiving your request, all personal information, pitches, and communications are permanently purged within 30 days.

7. Child Safety & Zero-Tolerance Policy (CSAE)

Pounce is strictly intended for individuals aged 18 and older. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy regarding any content that depicts, promotes, or facilitates Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Any user attempting to transmit or share harmful material will be permanently banned immediately, and all associated data will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement authorities worldwide.
