Request Account & Data Deletion

In accordance with Google Play developer policies and global data protection regulations (including GDPR and Indian DPDP), you have the right to request the complete deletion of your Pounce account and all associated personal data.

Option 1: In-App Deletion (Instant)

The fastest way to permanently erase your profile and content is directly inside the mobile app:

1. Open the Pounce app on your Android device.
2. Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
3. Scroll to the bottom of your profile and tap the red "Delete Account & Data" button.
4. Confirm your choice when prompted. Your account will be scheduled for immediate deletion.

Option 2: Web Deletion Request Form

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can submit a manual deletion request below. Our security team will process your request within 48 hours.

What Data Is Deleted?

Upon deletion, the following items are permanently removed from our production databases:

• Your profile credentials, name, email, and authentication IDs (LinkedIn/Firebase).
• All startup pitches, elevator summaries, and comments authored by your account.
• All private direct messages and pitch inquiries sent or received.
• Accreditation records, MCA CIN numbers, and verification badges.

Note: Standard anonymized transaction logs required for statutory financial audits may be retained for the minimum legally mandated retention period before permanent cryptographic erasure.
